Part 1 eCourse Terms of Business


PART 1: The Student



1.     Undertakes


(a)     To complete the enrolment form, to pay the fee as indicated and in agreement to these terms of business & conditions. Pay the

          remaining course fee as agreed and indicated on the enrolment form.


2.     Understands


(a).     That the course is deemed to have started 48 hours after this enrolment form has been submitted and the corresponding fees

          have been paid. These fees ONLY correspond to the Part 1 ecourse curriculum or in-car training if stated.


(b).     Part 1 course fees are non refundable and your statutory rights are not affected.  

                    

(c).     That Catz-i.com Approved Driver & Instructor Training (ADiT), will do everything possible to ensure continuity, so that the

          student's course is completed at a speed that is suitable to the student's availability, time and determination.


(c).     Catz-i.com ADiT may from time to time reschedule the student's correspondence for reasons such as fholidays, sickness

          or due to circumstances beyond our control or as a result of an act of God.


(d).     Part 1 course access is valid for 12 months from the date of enrolment, otherwise the student may loses the right to any

          support, unless by prior arrangement from Catz-i.com ADiT and this has been received in writing by the student.


(e).     That they must be the holder of a valid, full UK Driving Licence, now and throughout their period of training.


(f).      It is the students responsibility to ensure that they are eligible to become an Approved Driving Instructor. For example due to

          licence endorsements, disabilities or convictions should be checked before sending payment. Catz-i.com ADiT is in no way

          responsible should the Student find at a later stage that they have been turned down by the DVSA for any reason they deem

          necessary.  


(g).     Postage of manuals will be sent within 3 working days where possible and in all cases within 7 working days from the date that

          payment is received. These items will be posted to the PayPal address provided. Public holidays will not be counted as we cannot

          control Royal Mail.


(h).     Posted manuals will be sent by Royal Mail and the tracking details will be sent to you.


3.     Will


         (a). Make every effort to succeed and follow the requests and instructions of the Catz-i.com ADiT Instructors, including when to apply

               for the DVSA tests. Aim to become a 'Quality' professional instructor and accept the discipline in presentation, actions,

               speech, work and general attitude necessary to achieve this.


         (b). Ensure that rules and decorum is used when using the Part 1 Forum and details of the course and login access are not shared with

               forums or social media outwith the permitted Catz-i.com ADiT approved pages.


         (c). Not share their login details or share the course with anyone else. You may be removed from the course if this is the case.


         (d). Ensure that they can read a car number plate (with glasses if  required) at a distance of 27.5m (90ft) for symbols 79.4mm (3 1/8

               inches) high.


4.     Declares


         (a). That they have no criminal or motoring offences, which, to their knowledge would prevent them from becoming registered as a DVSA

               PDI or ADI (Car).


         (b). That they have passed the DVSA Driving Test at least three years and six months prior to the first in-car training session.



PART 2: Catz-i.com ADiT


1.     Undertakes


(a). To provide the student with advice, home study, training manuals (as per the student chosen order), and other publications deemed necessay by the DVSA, in such a way and at such times as felt by Catz-i.com ADiT to be appropriate in order to support the student during their training.


(b). To make every effort to increase the student's knowledge and ability in preparation for the DVSA qualifying examinations.


(c). To make every effort to improve where necessary the student's presentation, actions, attitude and general manner in order that they

      may become a qualified Driving Instructor of the 'Highest Quality'.


2.     Shall


(a). Reserve the right to refuse any person a place on a course or to discontinue the student's course for any derogatory or disruptive

      behavior, breach of these and any other terms & conditions, traffic or criminal offence.


(b). Not be held responsible for the loss or damage howsoever caused of any student's property, investment or injury sustained when

      not in a Catz-i.com ADiT vehicle. This includes the cost of a DVSA Test.



PART 3: General


(a). Whilst the course fees cover the vast majority of expenses that the student needs to pay, the course fees are related to training only

      and do not cover personal and travelling expenses to and from training sessions, or accommodation. They also do not cover any

      payment required. The DVSA currently charge;


Part 1          Theory & HPT               £081.00

Part 2          Advanced Driving Test  £111.00

Part 3          Instructional Ability        £111.00

Trainee Licence (Optional)               £140.00

Licence to Instruct                            £300.00


(b). Should it be necessary for Catz-i.com to pursue a Student for payments due, a fee of £1.00 per day is payable, plus

      appropriate charges will be added to cover costs (e.g. bank, letters, postage, administration, court and legal fees) incurred

      by Catz-i.com ADiT.


(c) The interpretation of all terms, conditions and other printed information; Catz-i.com ADiT will decide any disagreement not covered

      within them. The waving of any of the clauses in this agreement at any time for any student is at the sole discretion of Catz-i.com

      ADiT and will not in any way effect the rights of Catz-i.com Approved Driver & Instructor Training to enforce them at any other time.


All information is correct at time of publishing and all information will be provided in English. Any alterations to the above will be published on the forum and the student will be sent a link to this.
